VIDEO: Kyrie Irving Officially Announces New Girlfriend on Instagram

Kyrie Irving and his Boston Celtics may have entered the offseason sooner than they would have liked, but it looks like Kyrie is making the most of his time off the court so far. On Thursday, he announced via Instagram that he has a new girlfriend who will surely be sitting courtside and supporting Kyrie for the forseeable future.

His new love bug is a Compton, California native with over 400,000 followers on Instagram. Golen's full name isn't on her Instagram page, which is probably a smart move considering how crazy sports paparazzi can get with athletes and their love interests.

Irving is entering a pivotal offseason, and speculation about his free agency has steadily increased as we creep closer to the start of open season.

The Brooklyn Nets are reported to be the favorites to bring in the All-Star guard as of right now. We'll have to see if Irving's new girl will have any kind of influence on his decision this summer.
