VIDEO: Larry Walker Was Wearing a Spongebob Shirt When He Found Out He Got Into the Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame added two more members today, as Yankees legend Derek Jeter and Colorado Rockies outfielder Larry Walker joined the rest of baseball's immortals. Walker found out that he got the call to Cooperstown after 10 long years of waiting, and he wasn't exactly wearing a tuxedo when cameras caught his reaction to making it into the Hall.
When you've had the career he had and you've had to wait as long as he did, you get to wear whatever you want. Paying homage to Bikini Bottom is the perfect look for the Hall of Fame outfielder.
Walker, who didn't even think he would get in this year, hit .313 with 381 home runs, picking up three batting titles in four years along the way.
He had to deal with questions about the fact he missed a lot of time due to injury and the inflation of his stats at Coors Field, but common sense eventually prevailed and the legendary right fielder became the first player ever to have played a majority of their career with the Rockies to make it into Cooperstown.
Walker was one of the best outfielders and smoothest hitters of his generation. Just don't expect him to get all dressed up for his induction ceremony.
