New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell was the victim of an unfortunate crime recently, as two women reportedly stole as much $500,000 worth of jewelry, clothing, money and other of his belongings. Based on what we know, however, it seems they weren't complete strangers. TMZ Sports obtained audio of Bell's call to police officers, and when probed about the description of the culprits, the 27-year-old had a pretty interesting response. Listen below!

Ahh, nudity! The perfect time to steal stuff!

Bell was unable to provide authorities with a description of the women's clothing, as he claims that when he left his home that day, the females were both naked in his bed. While Bell likely had a pretty solid night, the next day was not so phenomenal.

The incident occurred on May 25, and Bell claims that he had been at the gym for a couple of hours before returning to his Florida home to discover many of his possessions had been purloined. Per Bell, neither woman would respond to his attempts to contact them via phone call.

While Bell was probably feeling pretty good about himself, leaving two ladies naked in bed before heading to the gym to continue his offseason grind, his return home was probably far less jovial.

After spending the 2018 season riding speedboats in Miami as part of his holdout from the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bell is set to return to the league in 2019, this time as a member of the New York Jets.

He inked a four-year, $52.5 million deal, so he should quickly be able to recoup his financial losses, and hopefully can track down the females who made off with his belongings.
