The Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks are squaring off Friday night in what could become a nice new rivalry for the next few years. LeBron James seems to be in the beefing spirit on Friday night. The Lakers superstar and Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle were spotted exchanging words at the end of the first quarter, and it did not look friendly.

These two have squared off many times before and are well aware of what it takes to win against the best. Carlisle is not going to have his team shy away from anyone while LeBron is also not afraid of any challenge.

Even if it's not one of the opposing players he's jawing at, LeBron is bringing the fire to this Friday night showdown.
