VIDEO: LeBron James and Pascal Siakam Jokingly Go at Each Other After Foul Call in Lakers-Raptors
By Scott Rogust
In NBA action, more so than any other sport, you can tell there's friendship simmering beneath the surface of most individual rivalries. During Sunday night's game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Toronto Raptors, LeBron James drove to the net and got a friendly whistle, immediately accusing Raptors forward Pascal Siakam of committing the foul. Siakam obviously didn't agree, and both stars appeared to get into a heated argument...that was, until James and Siakam broke out into laughter.
Originally, Siakam was called for the foul, but Raptors head coach Nick Nurse utilized the coach's challenge for official review. After deliberation, the foul call was overturned, and the Raptors' bench was ecstatic.
Granted, it was Nurse's first challenge win in seven attempts.
Nice try, LeBron, but there was no free trip to the charity stripe for you. Not on Nick Nurse's watch.
Oh, and the Raptors went onto defeat the Lakers 113-104, making that two victories in one day for the defending NBA Champions.
