VIDEO: LeBron James Says the Lakers Will Run the Offense Through Anthony Davis
By Michael Luciano

LeBron James has already started to give the Los Angeles Lakers a roadmap to success after he hangs it up by promoting new arrival Anthony Davis as the star on offense. James, 34, reiterated his desire to have the offense run through Davis rather than himself despite the fact that LeBron's style of play requires him to have the ball in his hands so frequently.

Davis, 26, is coming off of a year in which he averaged 26 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game despite not really trying for the second half of the season after he requested a trade from the New Orleans Pelicans.
In today's 3-point heavy league, running the offense through a 6-foot-10 power forward as opposed to a 6-foot-8 point-forward seems a bit backward. Then again, this could just be LeBron indirectly hinting at the fact that he only has so many years left, and Davis will be the player who leads this franchise for the next decade.

With LeBron able and willing to take a backseat to the Brow, Frank Vogel's first year on the job will certainly be one to watch on drama alone.
