VIDEO: LeBron James Shuts the Door on Rumors of Potential Beef With Lakers Teammate Kyle Kuzma
By Sean Facey
Kyle Kuzma raised some eyebrows on Friday after he and his trainer both seemed to be criticizing Los Angeles Lakers teammate LeBron James' lack of effort in the team's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. James was broached about the topic ahead of shootaround on Saturday, but he quickly squashed the rumors that there was growing beef between the two, stating that things are going along just fine.
"Kuz came to me yesterday at practice and told me what was going on," said James. "And that was it."
So for any Lakers haters hoping that seeds of discontent are beginning to sprout in Los Angeles, it looks like those hopes might be misplaced at the moment.
With James determined to lift another Larry O'Brien Trophy at year's end, he's determined not to let the media cause a rift between him and a key teammate. James swept these rumors right under the rug, and that's where he's hoping they will remain.
