VIDEO: Leury Garcia Gifts Braves' Freddie Freeman a Triple After Making Terrible Defensive Gaffe

What appeared to be merely a single for Freddie Freeman turned into much more when Leury Garcia made a horrendous mistake in the outfield grass. After Freeman sent a grounder the opposite way, Garcia was charging on it and misread the play to the worst degree. The ball went right by him and rolled deep into the outfield, leaving the Braves' star to take off for the races.

The result was a Little League triple for Freeman as he scampered into third, capitalizing on the White Sox outfielder's careless mistake.
Ozzie Albies came around to score, giving Atlanta a 9-5 lead in the eighth.
