VIDEO: Lil Wayne Leading 'Roll Out the Barrel' at Lambeau Field Definitely Willed Packers to Victory
By Scott Rogust
It was a tale of two halves for the Green Bay Packers. In the first act, Green Bay absolutely dominated the Seattle Seahawks. But in the second half, the Seahawks emerged from the proverbial grave to push the Packers to the brink. With the Packers up 28-17 at the conclusion of the third quarter, the fans at Lambeau Field needed to get pumped, given that Seattle wouldn't go away. Green Bay sent out renowned rapper and diehard Packers fan Lil Wayne to lead the faithful in singing the team anthem, "Roll Out the Barrel."
That was definitely a cool experience for Packers fans.
As everyone knows, Wayne is an avid supporter of the Packers -- so much so, that he created the song "Green and Yellow," a remixed version of Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" Pittsburgh Steelers rap anthem.
While Lil Wayne didn't play a physical role in the victory, he did get the crowd loud enough to will Aaron Rodgers and company to victory in the final 15 minutes of the game.
