VIDEO: Little Leaguer Savages Pirates on Live Television for Bad PNC Park Attendance Numbers
By Daniel Marcillo

The Pittsburgh Pirates have had a horrific season this year and to add insult to injury Canadian Little Leaguer, Everett Bertsch, had to remind them that no one wants to watch them play. In the middle of his interview on the Pirates broadcast with AT&T Sportsnet, he talks about how nice PNC Park is, but then follows it up with his observation of how empty it is.

We have to give credit Dan Potash for quickly pivoting away from Bertsch's attendance comment. Realistically, the Little League World Series might be the hottest ticket being sold in the state of Pennsylvania.
Over 40,000 people are expected to attend the championship game in Williamsport, which is not a number PNC Park can even hold. Not to mention, Tuesday night's game featured a small crowd just over 11,000.

Unfortunately, Canada will not be in the championship, but it would have been quite a sight to see Bertsch back up his comments in Williamsport.
