VIDEO: Lonzo Ball Appeared to Try James Harden's One-Legged 3 in Opener and it Didn't Work
By Scott Rogust
The New Orleans Pelicans had plenty of hope entering the 2019-20 season opener. However, those expectations were dashed on Monday, as first overall pick Zion Williamson underwent surgery for a torn meniscus, knocking him out for six-to-eight weeks. Now, the Pelicans are left to rely on their numerous other acquisitions, including Lonzo Ball, acquired in the massive Anthony Davis trade with the Los Angeles Lakers. Locked in a tight one with the defending NBA Champion Toronto Raptors, Ball attempted James Harden's brand-new "signature" one-legged 3-point shot in a game before Harden himself even got a chance to. How did it work? Well...
Not great.
At least you tried, Lonzo. 81 games to go to perfect it.
