VIDEO: Lonzo Ball Barely Even Trying to Convince Us He's Cool With Lakers Trading Him

It's finally setting in that the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers completed their blockbuster trade to send Anthony Davis to Hollywood. Now, though Lonzo Ball's boisterous father, LaVar, has stolen most of the family's headlines, the player himself is finally speaking out on his big move to New Orleans. Lonzo posted this short video clip mentioning all the good things that happened in his life recently, including his trade to the Big Easy. You be the judge as to whether he's actually good with having to move on from La La Land.

While Ball is no longer a teammate of LeBron James, he gets to feed the ball to No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson, which isn't a bad consolation prize.

Regardless, Lonzo Ball is a New Orleans Pelican, and will hold a crucial role in the team's plan for success in the near future. Somebody has to play point guard down there, after all.
