VIDEO: LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire Shares Unreal Moment With His Dad After Beating Alabama
By Jerry Trotta

LSU ended their eight-game losing streak versus Alabama in a riveting 46-41 victory in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. While Joe Burrow is grabbing the headlines, and rightfully so, Tigers running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire deserves some love. He logged 103 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, and added seven receptions for 77 yards and an additional score through the air. After that heroic performance, Edwards-Helaire was sensibly emotional and he shared a surreal moment with his father that is guaranteed to make you weak in the knees.

What wise guy is out here cutting onions?
If this isn't what sports are all about, then nothing is. Prior to his commitment to LSU, a plethora of recruiters said that Edwards-Helaire lacked the physical attributes of a prototypical running back.

Standing at 5-8 and weighing 209 bounds, that wasn't a farfetched assessment, but height doesn't measure heart, and Edwards-Helaire showed on Saturday that his is as big as they come.
He is a running back through and through, and a damn good one at that.
