VIDEO: LSU's Ed Orgeron Explains Reason Behind Celebratory Ham Sandwich
By Michael Luciano

After taking down Nick Saban, Tua Tagovailoa and the then-No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron celebrated his signature coaching victory with...a ham sandwich on the couch while watching SportsCenter? Considering what we know of Orgeron, that sounds about right. When asked for an explanation on his bizarre postgame ritual, Orgeron said he values being with his wife and family after big wins, and that was all he had left in the refrigerator.

Coach O was certainly much more animated in the locker room right after Joe Burrow and the Tigers laid waste to Alabama, as the master motivator's gravely Cajun voice had LSU ready to go out and play another 60 minutes.
Ed Orgeron was FEELING IT in the locker room after beating Alabama.

If eating ham sandwiches out of the fridge is the secret stuff that enables you to put up 46 on a Saban defense on the road, maybe we're all weird and Coach O is ahead of the game.
