VIDEO: Luka Doncic Wins 2018-19 NBA Rookie of the Year

There it is! Luka Doncic is the 2018-19 NBA Rookie of the Year! The Dallas Mavericks' third overall pick from the 2018 NBA draft saw a phenomenal season rewarded when his name was called once again, this time at the 2019 NBA Awards.

Doncic beat out fellow finalists Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks and DeAndre Ayton of the Phoenix Suns for the award.
He had a terrific year playing for Dallas, averaging 21.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.0 points per game, earning himself a spot on the 2018-19 All-Rookie team. There's no doubt that Mavericks found their star of the future in Doncic.
Now, he's got the hardware to prove it.
