VIDEO: Luke Voit Exits Game After Coming up Limping While Rounding First Base in London Series
By Parker White

The New York Yankees are having a blast in London and pounding the Boston Red Sox. But of course, something has to go wrong and a player has to leave the game with an apparent injury. This time, Yankee first base slugger Luke Voit exited in the top of the fifth inning after chugging around first base and going for two on his fourth hit of the day. Take a look:

Initially, it looked like Voit might have pulled a hamstring, but with the heat and humidity the two clubs are playing in the hope is that it's just cramps.
Infielder Gio Urshela replaced Voit.
Oh no, Luke Voit is hurt. Just awful. He might have just pulled something there and he’ll be replaced by Gio Urshela.

Voit leaves with a 4-for-4 day in five innings of play for the #Yankees today.
Voit did walk to the dugout without a limp and wasn't favoring the injury too bad, so we can only hope it was a cramp rather than a significant ailment.
walking pretty normal in the dugout so doesnt look that bad. maybe cramps? i dk looked like a pulled hammy to me

If Voit misses any significant amount of time, he'll be just one on a long list of Yankee players who have gone down due to injury. New York has been able to play without Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton for most of the year, but it's been Voit who's picked up the slack in the middle of the Yankee lineup.
