VIDEO: Luke Voit Obliterates Longest Yankees Home Run of Season to Give New York the Lead Again
By Sean Facey

This home run right here is a testament to true, raw power. New York Yankees slugger Luke Voit crushed a hanging slider from Kansas City Royals reliever Scott Barlow to give the Yankees a 5-3 lead, just an inning after Whit Merrifield tied the game at 3-3.

Luke Voit might have just become the most efficient means by which to put objects into orbit.
The ball was blistered off the bat, leaving the stadium at a scorching 109 miles per hour while traveling 470 feet, topping Gary Sanchez's 467-foot blast for the furthest hit home run for the Yankees this season.
In fact, it's the longest regular season shot since Aaron Judge's last May, and the longest overall since the Sanchize at Fenway in the ALDS.
Luke Voit's homer is the Yankees' longest of the season to date, and their longest since Gary Sanchez's 479-foot blast at Fenway Park last October 6.

It's the Yanks' longest in the regular season since Aaron Judge had a 471-foot homer last May 23.
Good company for a bad, bad man.
