VIDEO: Magic Johnson's Take on LeBron James and Anthony Davis is the Most Obvious Ever

Magic Johnson is no longer running the show in Los Angeles, but that doesn't mean that he has backed down from chiming in with his opinion on the team. Well, he's back with another comment on the LeBron-led Lakers, and this one might just be the least hot take of all time.

Really, Magic? Who would have thought that adding Anthony Davis to the Lakers would allow them both to dominate?

If that wasn't the initial expectation from Lakers' brass when they made the trade, then why send all of those young assets to New Orleans in exchange for 'The Brow' in the first place?

The massive trade shook the NBA, as Davis was one of the most coveted trade pieces in recent history. Johnson's comments, on the other hand, will barely have anyone batting an eye.

Johnson made the incredibly safe take on BET's Genius Talks, and it's safe to say that he didn't blow anyone out of the water with these comments.

Now, let's wait and see what he churns up on Twitter during Monday night's NBA Awards. Hopefully his future takes are better than what he just delivered.
