BOOM! With one vicious strike, we are in business at UFC Fight Night in the nation's capital. Saturday's prelim card from Washington, DC got started with some bang-bang excellence courtesy of Makhmud Muradov, who ended Trevor Smith in the final minute of Round 3 with a huge right-handed blast that knocked him unconscious and sent his mouthpiece flying across the Octagon.
Wow. Witness the power!
That's savagery. But the most savage move of all probably came from UFC legend and former heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier, who took to the telestrator from ESPN's commentary booth to deliver the ultimate insult to injury.
DC commentating live from DC just makes sense, and that was a chef's kiss moment. It only gets hotter from here.
