VIDEO: Malcolm Jenkins Unleashed Victory Dance Before Eagles Even Started Game Against Jets
By Jerry Trotta
There's a reason the quarterback position is labeled the most important in professional sports, folks. That notion has been proved true over the last few weeks as it pertains to the New York Jets while Sam Darnold has been shelved with mononucleosis. Luke Falk has taken over the reins and the Jets have arguably been the worst offensive team in the NFL through five weeks. How bad are they? Well, Malcolm Jenkins actually broke out into a victory dance in the Philadelphia Eagles locker room before Sunday's game.
Arrogance at its absolute finest, ladies and gents. We'd lambaste Jenkins if the Eagles defense didn't show out, but they put forth one of the most imposing performances that you will ever see in an NFL game.
Let's just say that Philly won by 25 points and Carson Wentz threw for less than 200 yards. Wentz and Jordan Howard (who rushed for just 62 yards) combined for the Eagles' only touchdowns on the afternoon.
Nothing more needs to be said. The Jets better do everything in their power to ensure that Darnold remains healthy for the remainder of the season. We're not sure their fan base can handle anymore savage trolling similar to what Jenkins displayed yesterday.
