VIDEO: Marcell Ozuna Crushes 2-Run Bomb to Put Cardinals up on Nationals Early
By Michael Luciano

The St. Louis Cardinals are continuing to pull away from the rest of the Joneses in the NL Central thanks in part to the performances of players like Marcell Ozuna. The 28-year-old outfielder got a hold of a mistake from Washington Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg, and proceeded to send it deep over the Busch Stadium fences to give the Cardinals a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

Ozuna, who is looking much more comfortable in his second year in St. Louis, hit home run No. 28 of the season. If he and Paul Goldschmidt are hot at the same time in the playoffs, the sky is the limit for this offense.
