VIDEO: Marcus Stroman Makes Incredibly Athletic Snag on High Ground Ball to the Mound

You don't see pitchers make crazy plays in the field that often, but on the off chance that you do, it's usually a thing of beauty. And that's exactly how Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman's leaping grab looked in Sunday's ball game against the Boston Red Sox.

It's worth noting that Stroman stands at just 5-foot-8, so perhaps a taller pitcher wouldn't have needed to exert such insane athleticism to secure that ball, but nonetheless, this is an awesome defensive effort.
Stroman read the ball off the bat perfectly and made an impressive leap to snag it and record the out at first. He's showing off all the tools in his kit during Sunday's game, including a filthy slow curve.
