VIDEO: Marcus Stroman Strikes Out Eduardo Nunez and Rubs it in With a Loud Scream
By Michael Luciano
Toronto Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman is nothing if not a showman. After shutting down the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park to the tune of six shutout innings, Stroman punctuated his dominant start with a guttural roar after striking out Eduardo Nunez.
Stroman is notoriously fiery on the mound, even willing to go back and forth with Mike Trout. Nunez and the struggling Red Sox had to feel like child's play for the Blue Jays starter, who lowered his ERA to 3.05 on the 2019 season.
While Stroman's theatrics might rub some dinosaurs, who still adhere to all of that unwritten rules nonsense, the wrong way, he is quickly becoming one of the more popular young starters in baseball, due in no small part to his on-mound persona.
If any Red Sox fans don't like Stroman getting as excited as he was, maybe don't let him have his way with your lineup.
