By Michael Luciano

One of the less-heralded breakout stars of the 2019 season has been Seattle Mariners first baseman Daniel Vogelbach, who has finally established himself as a quality infield option by knocking home runs into the next stratosphere. Los Angeles Angels reliever Cody Allen was Vogelbach's next victim, as the lefty gave the Mariners a 4-1 lead with a towering shot to right.

And THAT is why you give a hitter like Vogelbach the green light on a 3-0 count.
Statcast has this homer measured at 448 feet with an exit velocity of 109 MPH. Now that's making some solid contact.

Vogelbach has definitely been one of the more entertaining aspects of the 2019 MLB season.
