It would appear that the Temple Owls defense is out to send a statement to the Terps on Saturday. Rod Carey's D hasn't allowed an offensive point from Maryland thus far and they just pulled off their second fourth down stop on the day not even midway through the second quarter. Check out the Owls sniff out a Terrapins fake field goal attempt and absolutely smother the defenseless holder.

Perhaps Mike Locksley and Co. will think twice the next time they ponder going for it on fourth down.
If Temple can continue this defensive tenacity for the rest of the game, an upset at Lincoln Financial Field might just be in the works.
