VIDEO: Matt Ryan Gets Stiff-Armed 100 MPH Into the Turf After Throwing Interception Against Saints
By Scott Rogust
The Atlanta Falcons are not having a good Thanksgiving. First, star receiver Julio Jones was ruled out for their divisional matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Then, the game started with poor results after a blocked punt and TD by the Saints. Things only got worse in the third quarter. Quarterback Matt Ryan targeted running back Devonta Freeman, but defensive tackle Shy Tuttle picked off the pass. As Tuttle ran down the field, Ryan attempted to tackle him, which was a poor choice for the former NFL MVP, as he was stiff armed into oblivion.
Ryan was tossed aside like yesterday's garbage. He bounced off the turf like a rag doll.
If one play could summarize the Atlanta Falcons' 2019 season, this is it.
