VIDEO: Mets' Zack Wheeler Hit Ump Directly in the Crotch With a Breaking Ball

New York Mets starter Zack Wheeler has had decent command in a Thursday afternoon game against the San Francisco Giants, but even when you have your good stuff, it can get away from you for a pitch or two. Wheeler was looking to spike a breaking ball against Brandon Crawford, and instead of getting a swinging and miss, it bounced up and hit the home plate umpire right in the family jewels.

I'm sure deep down everyone on both teams wish Angel Hernandez, who is at first base in this game, was behind the dish for that. Poor Hunter Wendelstedt.
