VIDEO: Michael Brantley Creams 2-Run Homer to Give Astros Lead Over Reds
By Parker White

For whatever reason, the Houston Astros have had trouble with the Cincinnati Reds in this three-game series and have failed to lead them at any point thus far. But that was until professional hitter Michael Brantley came to the plate in the sixth inning and crushed a two-run homer to give the Astros a 2-1 lead.

With all the injuries Brantley endured in recent years that led him to play a combined 101 games in 2016 and 2017, it seemed like he was going to fade away in obscurity.
However, he bounced back nicely in 2018 and has taken it to another level with the Astros, as he now has 11 home runs and 42 RBI less than halfway through the season.
Michael Brantley, who just homered, is now 6-9 with 3 RBI in the series. Leads baseball in multi-hit games.

Not only is Brantley a lock to make the All-Star Game, but he could very well be a starter for the AL squad.
Is Brantley the best free agent signing of the offseason?
