VIDEO: Michael Chavis Ties the Game With a 3-Run Shot off Masahiro Tanaka in London

What in the wide world of sports is going on with this game? The New York Yankees jumped out to a 6-0 lead and knocked Rick Porcello out of the game, thanks in large part to an Aaron Hicks home run, but the Boston Red Sox countered with six of their own in the bottom of the inning. The big blow came off the bat of first baseman Michael Chavis, a three-run blast to center field which knotted up the score.
To sum things up: the two teams have combined for 12 runs on 10 hits in just one inning. 20 batters have come to the plate and both starting pitchers were knocked out in the first inning, combining to get a total of three outs.
Oh, and it's taken just under an hour to get through the first inning.
Yes, it usually takes a long time for these two teams to play each other, but it's going to take even longer if both offenses continue to hit like this.
What a weird start to this ballgame.
