The New York Mets are clinging on to life in the NL Wild Card race, trailing the Cubs for the second spot by five games. Up against the Phillies, who are one game ahead in the postseason hunt, a victory is necessary. While both Zach Eflin and Steven Matz were able to limit the damage, neither could hold a clean slate. Eflin let up a pair of runs, the second coming off this massive solo shot from Michael Conforto.

The sound off the bat was indicative of one thing only: that ball was being parked in the bleachers.
The baseball traveled 425 feet and left the bat with an exit velocity of 109 mph. An absolute bomb for Conforto's 29th of the year.
