VIDEO: Michael Vick is Really Not a Fan of Cam Newton's Fashion Sense
By Jerry Trotta

Cam Newton has drawn various criticisms in recent seasons for his outlandish outfit choices in pre- and post-game press conferences, to say nothing of the things he's actually said in those press conferences. He's dressed this way his entire career, but he almost always backed it up with MVP-caliber play on the gridiron-- even though in hindsight these narratives have virtually nothing to do with one another. Well, Fox Sports analyst Michael Vick appeared on FS1's "Speak for Yourself" and was asked for his thoughts on Cam's leadership prowess, and the former NFL gunslinger let it be known that he detests Newton's fashion sense. Vick insisted that the Panthers quarterback's primary focus should be football.

Newton really can't buy a victory of late, literally and figuratively.
The Panthers won their first game of the season this weekend with Kyle Allen under center, and now, dealing with an injury, pundits around the league have been quick to ding Newton and question the extent of his value.
Yes, Cam's play has been alarmingly woeful of late, but give him a pass here, Vick. Give him a chance to prove himself once he's healthy and ready to go.
