VIDEO: Michigan Extends Lead Over Notre Dame With Pair of Zach Charbonnet Rush TDs
By Sean Facey

The Wolverines are truly ground-and-pounding the ball against the Fighting Irish. As they worked deeper into their rainy Saturday evening showdown, Michigan capped off a grueling eight-play, eight-run drive against Notre Dame's defense with a Zach Charbonnet touchdown rush to extend their lead to 10-0 in the second quarter. Minutes later, he punched another one in from close range to help make it a 14-point affair.

There's no better way to handle a game on a damp night like this than to rely on the run. It's a sure-fire way to maintain ball security, move the ball effectively and wear down an opponent. So far, so good for the hometown Wolverines.
