VIDEO: Mike Francesa Tells Pat Shurmur the Giants Are Complete Garbage Live on the Air

If you haven't seen his work in a while, WFAN's Mike Francesa has been openly critical about the New York Giants, and for once, in his defense, he's calling like he sees it correctly. But that candor perhaps took a turn for the worse when Francesa had head coach Pat Shurmur on his show Monday. Hey Mike, this isn't your average Long Islander calling into the show on his way home from work stuck in traffic!

Woof. Shurmur, brilliantly, let Francesca know that scoring touchdowns and playing better defense are things the Giants "need to work on moving forward." Yup, improving upon the object of the game would be swell.

New York has dropped its first two games of the new NFL season and were outscored 63-31, including a home loss on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills during which second-year QB Josh Allen was moving the ball at will.

Francesa's point wasn't groundbreaking by any means, but the fact he laid into the boss live on the air is admirable.
