VIDEO: Mike Tauchman Crushes Home Run to Extend Yankees Lead and John Sterling Call Makes it Perfect
By Adam Weinrib
As if you didn't miss John Sterling enough during his brief, historic pre-All-Star Game absence, there's nothing like a Yankees home run to welcome him back in full force. Somehow, the team that homered in a month's worth of consecutive games before the break went the first several games of this Toronto series without drilling one at home. Mike Tauchman recorded the team's first longball of the second half with gusto, and Sterling busted out "The Sock Man" for old times' sake.
This blast, Tauchman's longest of the season, made it a 4-2 game.
