VIDEO: Mike Tauchman Smacks Opposite Field Home Run Off Zack Greinke
By Adam Weinrib

Hey, sometimes nothing makes any sense whatsoever! Just a few short hours after the Yankees offense was completely stymied by Taylor Clarke, Mike Tauchman has drilled a two-out, two-run homer the other way to equal the team's six-inning output against a stronger pitcher in D-Backs ace Zack Greinke.
Good at-bat by Tauchman. He had a nice swing on the 3-1 fastball but hit in foul. Fights off the 3-2 offspeed then gets the same fastball again and straightens it out for the homer. pic.twitter.com/vsRAQOOcaj

Amid never-ending trade deadline drama (it's supposed to end soon!), it's a small deal the Yanks made just prior to the season that's paying dividends once again. Reliever Phil Diehl went to Colorado, the unheralded Tauchman came back to New York, and the rest is some semblance of history.
1 reason I think #Yankees seriously have to consider moving Frazier if it gets them pitching: Just now Urshela (.878 OPS) double, Tauchman (859 OPS) HR off Greinke. Have become expert at finding position players, need to get pitching.

Now, go get yourself some pitching!
