VIDEO: Mike Trout Absolutely Demolishes Home Run No. 45 as Angels Build Lead Over A's
By Sean Facey
Mike Trout is a man on a mission. He's out to prove once and for all that he is absolutely deserving of the AL MVP award this year. The Los Angeles Angels superstar slugged his 45th home run of the year, a two-run blast off of Oakland Athletics pitcher Brett Anderson, to extend his team's lead to 4-1.
And as is the case with most of Trout's home runs, it was an absolute no-doubter. The blast traveled 455 feet with a scorching 111.1 mph exit velocity.
Maybe next time through the order, Anderson will be a bit more careful when he's pitching to the best hitter in all of baseball.
