VIDEO: Minnesota's Jameson Kuznia is Little League World Series' Next 'Big Al'
By Michael Luciano

The media darling of the 2018 Little League World Series was Alfred "Big Al" Delia, who famously claimed to "hit dingers" and proceeded to back up those words by becoming one of the most feared power threats in Williamsport. The 2019 Series might feature an near-exact replica in Coon Rapids, Minnesota's Jameson Kuznia, who already had his one shining moment with a three-run, tie-breaking home run against Iowa in the Midwest Regional Championship.

And with that, Kuznia announced his arrival to the rest of the world in Williamsport. Here's hoping he and the Coon Rapids squad will manage to make a deep run in the tourney.
Though he hit just .214 in the regional, Kuznia is showing that even amongst 12-year-olds with 225-foot fences, right-handed power like that will still play.

We have a new favorite for the most compelling team in the competition this year, as Coon Rapids feature Maddy Freking, the 19th girl to play in the LLWS, and the big slugger in Kuznia who will hopefully be slamming mammoth home runs.
If any American team can make an improbable run to the top, Coon Rapids is a good team to start with.
