VIDEO: Mitchell Trubisky Finds David Montgomery for Late TD as Bears Take Lead Over Lions

The Chicago Bears didn't quite have the game they were hoping for, but Matt Nagy's side fought and clawed to stay close against the Lions on Thursday. Well, the team's persistence paid off, as on a late push in the fourth quarter, Mitchell Trubisky connected with rookie RB David Montgomery for a touchdown.

The score gave the Bears the lead over the Lions, 24-20 with time winding down in the fourth.
While Trubisky didn't look sharp at all times, he was able to come up big for the Bears when it mattered most, and didn't make many crucial mistakes. He had his first 300+ yard performance of the season, and also tossed three TDs.
