A few months ago, Mike Fiers publicly exposed the Houston Astros' for what has become the infamous sign-stealing scandal. While many people, including MLB legend David Ortiz, are not happy with Fiers' "snitching", MLB insider Jeff Passan is on the other side of things. Passan explained that no matter how it was revealed, as long as the cheating was made public, baseball is better off.

Passan didn't hold back, and let the baseball world know exactly how he felt. Had Fiers not come out and said something, who knows if the Astros would have ever stopped.

Fiers, for his part, has been receiving death threats for coming out with the major news. Obviously, this is sad and disturbing that people would go to this measure.

Superstars across the league have destroyed the Astros and their players for stealing signs. Things haven't quieted down in that department and they aren't expect to anytime soon.
