VIDEO: Molly Qerim Says Husband Jalen Rose Wants LaVar Ball to Apologize to Her for Rude Comment

LaVar Ball made headlines when he made a questionable comment directed at "First Take" host Molly Qerim.

Now, Qerim says that her husband, former NBA star Jalen Rose, would rather Ball apologize to her for his words.

Ball made an unexpected an inappropriate remark, saying, "You can change gears with me anytime," when Qerim asked to shift the subject.

She handled the situation well, simply stating they should all stay focused while trying to keep things civil.

It's not altogether unsurprising that Qerim says Rose would want him to apologize. It was an unnecessary comment from one married individual to another that was completely unprofessional in the moment.

Being flamboyant and off-the-cuff is part of his personality, but hitting on Qerim was uncalled for. There's simply no excuse for such actions. It's demeaning and indicative of a lack of respect.

An apology from LaVar would definitely help smooth things over. It would be wise of him to show remorse for his actions and that he's truly sorry for treating her in such a disrespectful manner.
