For all the criticism the Boston Red Sox are receiving for being unable to replicate their success from last year's title-winning campaign, their biggest star is doing everything he can to do his part. Just take a look at how Mookie Betts absolutely crushes this outside pitch off Pesky's Pole at Fenway Park against Minnesota Thursday night:

Betts has been on fire in his last seven games, with 4 homers and 12 hits to go along with a .364/.405/.758 slash line.
If the Red Sox somehow sneak into the playoffs in the last month of the season, there's no doubt it'll be thanks to Betts, as he continues to rake in the early stages of September, including a massive showing last night.
