VIDEO: Nate Burleson Declares Aaron Rodgers His MVP Thus Far This Season

The NFL MVP race has been blown wide open after Patrick Mahomes was ruled out for a few games thanks to his knee injury, and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has shot to the top of several hypothetical MVP rankings after a month of standout play for Green Bay. CBS analyst Nate Burleson is riding the Rodgers wave, declaring him the season's MVP over the likes of Mahomes, Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson.

Rodgers looks totally reborn during his first season under Matt LaFleur, as he has thrown for 2,324 yards, 16 touchdowns and just two interceptions as Green Bay has won seven of their first eight games this year.

Rodgers is the betting favorite to win the MVP this season, and TV talking heads like Burleson are starting to drink the Kool-Aid and realize what a phenomenal season he is having.
