VIDEO: Nationals Fan Who Caught Yordan Alvarez's Homer Takes Shot at Astros in Interview During Game
By Karl Rasmussen
This Washington Nationals fan is truly living the life at Game 5. After refusing to set down his beer in order to catch Yordan Alvarez's home run, he instantly became a legend on Twitter. And Nationals staff managed to catch up with this unknown hero and give him his five minutes of fame with a quick interview. And boy, did he live up to his hype. The Nats fan managed to take a shot at the Astros during his 30 seconds of camera time, saying that the blow from the homer didn't even hurt, as Astros batters don't hit hard.
What an absolute savage. Jeff Adams, as this hero is called, said he didn't feel a thing. While he did hold onto the ball, it's hard to blame him. That's a piece of baseball history no matter what team you root for.
And if he decides to sell the ball after the game, maybe he'll be able to afford a few more beers at the ballpark.
