The blast marked his third home run of the season and his second in walk-off fashion.
It was a breath of fresh air for the Nationals, who had squandered a 4-1 lead by giving up three runs in the top of the eighth. The win pulls them to within five games of .500, and was their fourth in a row.
With nine wins in their last 11 games, the Nationals may not have to consider blowing the team up after all if they keep this up.
