VIDEO: Nats' Anthony Rendon Continues Hot Streak With 2-Run Bomb Against Marlins
By Parker White
The Miami Marlins took a lead against Patrick Corbin and the Washington Nationals, but it was short-lived because one of the best players in baseball turned the tide with one swing of the bat. With two outs and a runner at second, Anthony Rendon gave Washington the lead with a two-run blast to left-center field.
This is Rendon's third homer in two games, giving him 32 long balls on the season. He also now leads all of baseball with a whopping 111 RBI. If he keeps this up, who knows how many he'll with a month left to play.
While Cody Bellinger and Christian Yelich have been the front runners in the NL MVP race all year, Rendon deserves to be mentioned among them
Rendon is about to get PAID this offseason!
