VIDEO: NBA Fines Steve Kerr for NSFW Tirade Directed at Refs
By Sam Dunn

Steve Kerr most certainly got his money's worth on Monday night when he found himself ejected in Sacramento. Frustrated with how things were going, he received a technical foul for emerging from the sideline during a stoppage and barking at the refs in a decidedly NSFW manner. He then quickly found himself booted from the game mere moments from halftime. And now, the NBA has opted to fine the coach for his indiscretions to the tune of $25,000.

Given how things have been going for the Dubs in their first season in San Francisco, it's hard to blame him for feeling steamed. The five-time defending Western Conference champs are in last place in the West and next to last in the entire NBA as of this writing. The season is beyond a lost cause.

This kind of fine, all told, is a drop in the bucket for Steve Kerr. Don't be surprised if he's right back to blowing up on the sidelines sooner rather than later -- because this whole mess by the Bay isn't going to get better soon.
