VIDEO: Nick Swisher Being Jacked up for Random Spring Training Friday is What Every Yankee Fans Needs Right Now
By Michael Luciano
Your ultimate goal in life should be to find someone who loves you like Nick Swisher loves anything even somewhat related to the game of baseball. The former New York Yankees outfielder and FS1 baseball analyst made his return to Yankees Spring Training in Tampa, and the amped outfielder who helped bring title No. 27 to the Bronx was as animated as ever.
Swisher played for eight years with the Athletics, White Sox, and Indians, but he clearly views himself as a Yankee, as his four-year stint from 2009-2012 was the best stretch of baseball he had in his career.
That wasn't Swisher's only outburst of emotion down in Tampa, as he was clearly too excited to show Yankees GM Brian Cashman his "Cashman Rules Everything Around Me" shirt.
Never change, Nick.
Swisher was a tremendous switch-hitting outfielder in his day, and he hasn't lost one drop of excitement about the game since he stopped playing. Swisher's boundless enthusiasm and excitement for baseball is a joy to watch no matter what team you're a fan of.
