VIDEO: Nick Young Said Kevin Durant Acted 'Soft' in Handling Outside Noise

Former Golden State Warriors bench star Nick "Swaggy P" Young had some interesting comments about his former teammate Kevin Durant following his departure for the East Coast. Durant, who recently joined the Brooklyn Nets, has had some strange interactions with the NBA media throughout his career, both in person and online, often seeming prickly in comparison to his fellow superstars. Young, who last played with the Denver Nuggets, but once won a ring alongside KD, commented on Durant's relationship with the media on 95.7 The Game radio.

Although Swaggy P showed plenty of love for his former teammate, he mentioned that he thought Durant let the media get to him sometimes, making him "soft sometimes."

It's hard to understand why in the world Nick Young is commenting on Kevin Durant's relationship with the media. Although the two were taken in the same draft class (2007) and won a championship together during the 2017-2018 NBA season, that one year was the only time the two were teammates. It's not like Young's public image is sparkling, either.

Despite Young's comments, he clearly has a lot of respect for Kevin Durant, and he made sure to make that clear. Who knows how, or if, KD will respond to Nick Young calling him soft, but that could turn into a very entertaining back and forth.
