VIDEO: Odell Beckham Jr. Hits Practice Field in a Browns Uniform for the First Time
By James.r
Mandatory mini camp has finally arrived, which means Odell Beckham Jr. is officially at the Cleveland Browns facility. After all the talk about his absence from portions of the team's voluntary OTAs, it's time for OBJ to buckle down and get to work.
ESPN's Josina Anderson posted a video of Odell's arrival on the practice field with his new team:
The all-pro wideout has been the topic of much debate this offseason, most notably for his spat with FS1's Colin Cowherd regarding his absence at voluntary workouts. Beckham's new quarterback, Baker Mayfield, came to his defense in the argument.
Now, with Beckham back on the field, the focus can return to football, where the new-look Browns are expected to be contenders to win the AFC. By adding OBJ to a skill-position group that includes Beckham's college teammate Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway, David Njoku, and Nick Chubb, GM John Dorsey has built a potential offensive juggernaut.
OBJ is unquestionably one of the most talented and competitive receivers in the NFL, and his presence ought to provide a huge boost to the Browns this summer. With Odell focused and on the field, football just might be back in Cleveland.
