VIDEO: Oklahoma Holds on Against TCU Thanks to Questionable Spot on 4th Down Jalen Hurts Run

Oklahoma just barely stayed alive in the College Football Playoff race against TCU on Saturday night, but a fourth down spot went their way that rightfully had Gary Patterson furious.
This was ruled a first down by Jalen Hurts, clinching an Oklahoma win over TCU.

To make matters even worse, the spot was upheld via replay review. Although, given the call on the field, it would've been incredibly tough to overturn even with the oversight of the replay official.

The committee will take the scoreline into account in the next College Football Playoff rankings, and they should. While Jalen Hurts and Co. clinched a spot in the Big 12 title game, they're trending in the wrong direction if they want to make an impression on the committee.
